A career built on people, institutions and the belief that better HR makes better organisations.
Diana Bomboko is a Brussels-based HR and Institutional People Management Consultant with over 18 years of progressive experience at the intersection of human resources, administration and organisational development.
Her career spans the private sector, development organisations, international institutions and the public sector, giving her a rare breadth of understanding across very different organisational cultures and governance frameworks. Diana has worked with institutions whose people management challenges are as complex as their mandates — and she brings the same rigour and care to each engagement.
Among her notable professional experiences, Diana served at the OACPS Secretariat (Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States), where she gained first-hand insight into the HR complexities of large multilateral institutions. It was also through this experience that her collaboration with AtineHR™ and Atine Labs™ was born, during the implementation of BambooHR.
Diana is the daughter of Mr. Bomboko, the first Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Congo — a statesman whose career represented the founding generation of an independent nation's diplomatic identity. This heritage of institutional service and public responsibility is not merely biographical: it forms the philosophical core of Diana's approach to HR — the belief that institutions are only as strong as the people within them, and that people management is a matter of national and organisational vitality.
Diana's approach is grounded in a deep conviction: you cannot improve what you do not first understand. Before proposing any solution, she listens, assesses and builds a thorough picture of the people, the institution and the processes involved.
Diana holds professional experience and qualifications in Human Resources and Administration. Full employment history and academic credentials are available upon request for verification in formal procurement or institutional engagement processes.
Providing HR advisory, diagnostics, training and people management support to governments, international organisations, NGOs and private sector clients.
Contributed to HR operations and administration at the Secretariat of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States. Led engagement with AtineHR™ during BambooHR implementation.

Six stages that move from deep understanding to measurable, sustainable improvement.
Structured conversations with leadership, managers and staff to understand the real state of HR — not the official version, but the lived experience.
Document review, process mapping and gap analysis to produce an honest diagnostic of where the HR function stands and what needs to change.
Design or redesign policies, contracts, job descriptions, frameworks and documentation that are fit for purpose and institutionally appropriate.
Roll out new HR practices with clear ownership, communication plans and change management support to ensure adoption.
Train managers, HR teams and staff to use, sustain and build on what has been put in place — making capability a lasting asset.
Set review cycles, track outcomes and continuously refine — because effective HR is not a project with an end date, it is an ongoing discipline.
Whether you need a focused HR diagnostic or an end-to-end people management transformation, the first step is a conversation.
